  • Disobedience

Lying is a common attribute of every proud person. They lie to feed their inflated ego. Ananias & Saphira lied to the church because they wanted people to think highly of them.

CONCLUSION

Humility – The example of Christ.

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! – Phil. 2.5-8

Phil. 2.3  NLT: “Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves”.
