There are certain things that defines your personality. Someone said as a quote “attitude your way to altitude”.

Your attitude – your way of doing things, your way of saying things. We can say something that is right with the wrong attitude. Some of us can hear wrongly also because of wrong attitude.

Your attitude can define your fulfillment. There are people who are not fulfilled… not fulfilled at home, family, marriage, in church… They feel they came from the wrong family… are in the wrong marriage… They have the wrong attitude without knowing it.

They always think everyone else is the problem. Sometimes we feel others can’t find our value; it is simply because we got the wrong attitude.

There are so much we can learn from the word of God to sharpen and correct our approach, stand‐point, way of behaviour and mind‐set in life. See what John the Baptist did in the book of John 3:26.

What was the reaction of John when he was told Jesus was baptising. John could have been upset; he could have been in competition with Jesus; he could have possibly said to Jesus, why are you baptising, don’t you know I’m the Baptist? In fact, I have borne witness about you already, just go and die for them. That was not what he said, see verse 27‐30.

What an answer…? We are trying to find out the man John, his attitude – what kind of man was he? John said, his joy was fulfilled.

Are you not the drummer…? The TV never shows your face… you just keep drumming and it’s only the soloist they show, why can’t anybody see your face and you are the best drummer… Drummers reply…. Look I have made that music work, my joy is fulfilled… What is your attitude? It matters what you are looking at in your life… the things that makes us unhappy… The things that pain us. Sometimes we even develop the attitude of the man Harman in the bible – Esther 3:1‐6.

After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him and set his seat above all the princes who were with him. 2 And all the king’s servants who were within the king’s gate bowed and paid homage to Haman, for so the king had commanded concerning him. But Mordecai would not bow or pay homage. 3 Then the king’s servants who were within the king’s gate said to Mordecai, “Why do you transgress the king’s command?” 4 Now it happened, when they spoke to him daily and he would not listen to them, that they told it to Haman, to see whether Mordecai’s words would stand; for Mordecai had told them that he was a Jew. 5 When Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow or pay him homage, Haman was filled with wrath. 6 But he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone, for they had told him of the people of Mordecai. Instead, Haman sought to destroy all the Jews who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus—the people of Mordecai – Esther 6:1‐6.

Every time Haman pass by everyone bows down except a man named Modecai. His friends came to Haman and asked, have you noticed that that man Modecai never bows when you pass by? He said I thought so…. It’s true he does not bow… What did Haman say? His pride was hurt… he couldn’t take it… He said to deal with Modecai alone is a disgrace to men, I will finish him with all that associated with him and he went fought but GOD stopped him… Why is it that sometimes some of God’s children takes up the attitude of Haman. There is someone who doesn’t greet you and that thing cannot leave your mind.

Every time i come, he acts as if i am so small. Until you are so upset, one day… ah am i so small you can’t see me? Did you lose anything? Why did you care? If he doesn’t greet you, it doesn’t make you less than you are, you go ahead and greet him anyway… Just be nice,

be yourself, don’t care about those things, have the right attitude. It pays when we allow the spirit of GOD corrects us about our attitude so that we can walk right.. So it comes in a point in your life when you don’t care about those things, they just don’t matter you must develop the right attitude.. When the wrong attitude shows up, nail it, get it out of

your life. And when you act correctly, you have the right attitude, God will continue to promote you. The bible says God resist the proud, the more they try to rise, the more HE elbows and resist them but He gives grace to the humble. 1 Peter 5:5.

I know where I’m supposed to be by now… “That is not from GOD”… Who told you are supposed to be somewhere? I know where my mates are talking…, really? Some are talking in prison, Of course… I know where my mates are… Is it because I’m here? The bible says humble – 1 Peter 5:6.

One of the things we must be careful about in our life is, the temptation to measure yourself with other people.

You find out in the book of Exo. 32:10. If you were Moses, what would you have thought.. is true.. This stiff‐necked people… See 9‐12… Moses would have accepted but no, he didn’t… What an attitude. Exo. 32:31‐32
