12 that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory. 13 For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe. – Ephesians 4:13, 1 Corinthians 1:10, Philippians 1:27.

As members of the church, the only divine institution established on earth by our Lord Jesus Christ, we are the most favoured and most fortunate people. Why do I say that? I have come to know through God own revelation to His people. God cannot lie for He is not a man. He keeps promises and covenants to thousands of generations.

Let us read, “For you are a [a]holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but because the Lord loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of [b]bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. “Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;  Deuteronomy 7:6-9 and 1 Peter 2:9-11, just as God choose Israel from amongst many nations, through the promise he made to their father Abraham. When He called him out of his father’s house – Genesis 12:1-3 of whom we are by faith his children. This is the same way our Lord Jesus Christ the seed of the promise (Galatians 3:7, 6-18) has called us by the gospel into His own kingdom, the church to worship the Father – God – Colossians 1:12-13, 18.

How To Continue In The Faith
  1. First, We Must Give Acceptance to the Word of Faith, and to respect those who are the servants. Preachers, nothing is paramount to the preaching of the gospel – 1 Corinthians 1:21, Proverbs 11:30, Romans 10:14.
  1. Don’t seek for signs and wisdom of men. Signs and miracle seekers will be disappointed, those who want to hear the enticing words of man’s wisdom will also not receive the heavenly prize of eternal life – 1 Corinthians 1:22, Matthew 12:38, 42. God placed power in the gospel to care of all mankind needs. 1 Corinthians 1:24-25, Matthew 6:31-33.
  1. Servants should stand up to the ability given to them by the holy Spirit to warm up the church by being proactive in every duty calls, praying always and not doubting anything – Colossians 4:17, 2 Timothy 4:5, 1 Timothy 4:13-16, Acts 6:4, James 1:5-7.
Conclusion

Let us not behave like the children of Israel, who cried for Samuel to give them a king like other nations, when they were rightly under the safe rule of the Almighty God. And by that singular action dishonoured God – 1 Samuel 8:1-22, but consider 1 Samuel 8:5, 19-20.

Therefore, I speak to the church today that we are rightly under the rule of Christ – in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge – Colossians 2:3. The head of all things even to the church. God chose us according to His own will and purposes. Therefore, let us walk together. So don’t look elsewhere, Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words – Colossians 2:4. 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in loveEphesians 4:14-16.
